The experiment
I’m testing a simple question in public: can helpful answers on social sites — without hard selling — grow a real email list?
What I’m testing
I’m looking at whether useful, honest answers can earn enough trust for someone to choose to follow the work by email. The focus is the process, not a promise of results.
The rules I’ve set for myself
- Start with real questions from people figuring out online income, often affiliate-related.
- Answer helpfully before asking for anything.
- No hard sell in the first conversation.
- Share light progress, including what isn’t working yet.
What “success” means here
Success is learning what helps people, building trust without pretending to have all the answers, and seeing whether a small, real email list grows over time. There are no income claims or guaranteed outcomes.
What’s public and what’s for the book
What’s public: the experiment framing, light field notes, and useful answers to common questions.
What’s for the book: deeper method, fuller numbers, and the longer story. This site stays deliberately light.
